i'm awake

hello,

it's a quiet sunday morning. i've had time to think
about what to do with the songs i've written and
the songs i want to write. i wrote some songs over
the christmas holidays, at which point i had been
intending to put an album together. since then i
had been spending my time working on the newest
papertiger sound album, "atlantic wires". tying up
loose ends and doing final mixes was all-consuming.
we've just recently finished and i'm happy to report
its release for February 26th.

however, during the space between the older
and newer songs, i think i lost sight of
the album that i had been envisioning.
so instead, i am going to release a
three track EP, "your familiar".
the songs i've recorded over the past couple
of days will find a home somewhere else,
where i'm sure they will live happily
for a very long time.
